Outdoor living spaces are one of the biggest growth areas the remodeling industry has seen in quite some time. Some of the more common options seen in outdoor living spaces are kitchens with built in grills and pizza ovens and living areas with fire pits and seating areas with full couches and lighting. With the trend of bringing the living areas outside, we are now seeing bathrooms coming to outdoor spaces too.
Outdoor showers are a more common sight when it comes to bringing bathing out into the fresh air, but outdoor soaking tubs are really starting to take off, from rooftop installations to private courtyards. Here is where having really good privacy walls are a must unless you have no problems with “sharing” with your friends and neighbors. Just the thought of bathtub fulls of bubbles in the fresh air got us wishing for an outdoor tub minus of course any kind of flying bugs and/or too friendly neighbors.
These great images from show some great outdoor soaking tubs on Houzz along with perfect privacy walls.
