Special effects. They make a ordinary room.Well. Extraordinary. Adding a statement piece to every room is one of the tricks the experts use when they want to bring drama to the room. It is an easy way to draw the eyes in and make the room pop. Blending materials such as a copper vessel sink with a glass or wood counter top draws your eyes into the sink because the elements are unique and unusual. Using an uncommon element in each room will give room a dramatic detail. Little details should not be overlooked as it is in these small overlooked items that usually make the room special.

Whether its novel wall faucets, a metal tub, or fabulous wall tile, these design details make a big statement.

From dark woods, gold and silver accents and glass counter tops you would think there would be too many collaborations going on here, but it rocks.

Don’t feel you have to be matchy-matchy when combining your faucets, vessel sinks and free standing tub. Mixing and layering your metals can have a more casual elegance than trying so hard with everything looking a bit..boring.
