I am not very daring when it comes to decorating. I tend to go go for creams, tans, whites, oatmeal. Basically BORING! I am scared of color and patterns thinking I may overdo it. I had a decorator come over the other day to bring some life to my home and the one thing that came out during our session was that I need to go for bold in the powder room. Show some personality! Make it fun! Bring some life into it is what she was basically saying. I went to HOUZZ.com to get some ideas on how people are decorating their powder rooms and came away some great ideas on how to make my bathroom pop with fun!

Making a statement doesn’t have to be done in every aspect of the small powder room. This bathroom has a great eclectic cabinet that I just love and really makes the room stand out along with a great
unique vessel sink.

These light pendants are a great way to spice up the space. Other wise a very traditional space. the pendants make a statement and add that touch of whimsy I am going for.

You can never go wrong with a
custom vessel sink and a great faucet. With so many on the market today, the problem will be trying to decide on just one. I like that the sink has a cool drain and the faucet is super fun.

Color can be scary. Especially in small spaces. Spicing up the room with either a great wall color or wall paper is easily done. Even if everything else is traditional, a bit of color or texture on the wall will give the room some extra punch.
