If the designers at this years NYC Design 2013 have any foresight into the future of what is trending in home design, they seem to agree that copper will be coming out on top. A popular material choice last week of the designers, copper was seen through out the shows wide range of design products including functional pieces such as lamps and dishes. No big surprise as copper was on the scene big time last year at the London Design Festival. “Copper is one of those materials that most people are drawn to. Copper has these rare assets that make the metal ultra-versatile. From its ability to blend in well with other materials, its color variations and its extreme flexibility makes it ideal for design,” said Jared Kemp an artist displaying his custom work.
