Maintenance. To some it’s considered a dirty little word, but when you own a metal hot tub it is one of the most important aspects of owning an aquatic vessel.

Water in any hot tub including a custom spa by Dimaond Spas is guaranteed to get murky, dirty and develop a scum line at the water line over time. Some of the reasons that this occurs can be due to any number of reasons but heavy batherload, algae, environemental debris and regular maintenance are some of the biggest culprits.

Preventive maintenance is the most common problem of dirtly water and scum lines. It is imperative to have regular scheduled maintenance on your hot tub as this will lengthen the life of your hot tub preventing it from wear and tear, component damage and maintaining the overall look of your luxury spa.

Diamond Spas recommends a weekly, quarterly and yearly maintenace system as detailed below:

Water Care Instructions

After each use       Add 2 oz. of H202 (35% Hydrogen Peroxide)

(Not applicable for Clear Comfort Systems)

Weekly                     Test and maintain pH of 7.4-7.6

Test and maintain H2O2 at 40-80 ppm

(Not applicable for Clear Comfort Systems)

Yearly                        Replace filter cartridge

DO NOT LEAVE SPA UNCOVERED WHILE EMPTY
