Are there people walking underwater in that Pool? Indeed they are, this is an art exhibit at the 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art in Kanazawa, Japan. While looking from above it does appear that the pool is filled with crystal blue water, it is actually only a layer of water 10 centimeters deep that is suspended over transparent glass. Museum goers can entire the pool through enclosures in the pool walls.

The concept for the “Swimming Pool” by artist Leandro Erlich was first conceived in 1998 Huston, Texas when Erlich was part of the Core program, since then the exhibit traveled across the world and has found a permanent home in Kanazawa.

What do you think about this under water art exhibit?
