Have you noticed lately how tile is becoming one of the hottest trends in designs? Wasn’t it just a few short years ago when the subway tile was the hottest thing to have in the kitchen? In the design world things happen fast. Don’t get me wrong subway tiles still look beautiful but there is something that just stops you in your tracks when you see these gorgeous patterned tiles behind unique tubs such as this.
Another interesting thing about tile is that we are starting to see them in other places than just wet places such as the kitchen and bathroom.
From fireplace surroundings to an accent wall full of tile in the bedroom or dining room. Designers are using tiles like a wallpaper to accent walls in their projects.
One of my very favorite tile companies that I have seen is Artistic Tile. Some of their tiles are truly works of art. These portfolio images of theirs show how tile is used in outdoor settings such as this backdrop to a plunge pool and in a foyer to a residential home.
